People living in backward areas do not have the necessary financial means to conduct marriage ceremonies for their loved ones. To add to that, they follow an age-old tradition called the dowry system, the very same system that has destroyed millions of lives and families across the country.
We conduct an annual Mass Community Wedding to help these people conduct marriages with great pride and joy, and also to spread awareness amongst people to take a stand against the ill practice.
Widow Re-Marriages are also conducted during these Mass Weddings, which sadly, happens to be a big social taboo in most parts of the country.
