The cemetery in the town of Karauli was no place to bid the final adieu to your loved ones. With no proper area to bathe for cremation rituals, people would venture below the hill to the river, which resulted in frequent accidents. Having seen the conditions of the cremation grounds, the promoters took matters into their own hands and decided to build a new cemetery for the people of Karauli with proper facilities, so that they could safely and peacefully conduct the last rites of the departed souls.
